Share Your Ideas - Population & Housing Growth
802,000 people & 350,000 housing units by 2035
The Vermont Futures Project is setting a data-informed goal to increase Vermont’s population to 802,000 people and its non-seasonal housing stock to 350,000 units by 2035. Achieving these goals will strengthen our economy, scale up Vermont’s impact on sustainability, and help our state make progress on social equity. We need your help to develop recommendations for actions that will move Vermont forward towards achieving this goal.
This input form will remain open through December 31, 2023. You may submit the form multiple times to share new ideas as they emerge. Please share with others in your network. All submissions are anonymous. Your input will shape final recommendations for the economic action plan.
