Workforce Solutions Forums

The Vermont Futures Project is an independent non-partisan organization with a goal of providing a vision that supports and encourages long-term economic growth for Vermont, providing data and recommendations to achieve this goal. The Vermont Futures Project has identified that our state needs 10,000 new workers each year to keep pace with our current rate of growth. The Vermont Futures Project is traveling throughout the state to build an agenda for growth by focusing on solutions to address the workforce challenge. Teaming up with local chambers, business associations, and the Vermont Chamber of Commerce, the Vermont Futures Project is soliciting solutions to create a targeted plan to increase our workforce. We will be uploading summaries from our forums as they occur throughout the fall, so please check back on our website for additional summaries. If you are unable to attend a forum, or there is not one located in your community, we are still interested in hearing from you. Provided below is a comment box to share your thoughts and ideas on how to resolve Vermont’s workforce supply gap. Or you can contact info@vtfuturesproject.org to provide your thoughts and input.
